OCIA /Convert Instructions

Interested in learning about the Catholic faith?  Have questions about converting?

OCIA is for people who want to learn about Catholics or to become Catholic.  It is a process of formation by which adults become fully initiated members in the Catholic Church.  We invite you to participate in our non-judgmental process that will allow you to explore, without commitment, your entry into the Catholic faith.

If you are an adult seeking Sacraments of Initiation (i.e. Baptism, Confirmation and/or First Eucharist), have an interest in becoming Catholic, or just have questions, please contact Fr. Shaun.

Music Ministry

Immaculate Conception is blessed to have a very vibrant Music Ministry.   We have music at all our liturgies, as well as special holiday and special events.  We are always welcoming new members of all age levels to our groups.  Vocalists as well as Instrumentalists are welcome!  There are no auditions, you only need to have a desire to lead prayers and praise God through song.

5:00 pm Mass Saturday Choir ~ rehearsals Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm

8:00 am Mass Sunday Choir ~ rehearsals before Mass on Sundays

10:00 am Mass Sunday Choir ~ rehearsals Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm

12:00 and 6:00 PM pm Mass Choirs (Spanish) ~ 2 choirs lead music with separate rehearsals

God has bestowed upon his people the gift of song.  God dwells within each human person, in the place where music takes its source.  Indeed, God, the giver of song, is present whenever people sing his praises.

Rachel's Vineyard

Rachel's Vineyard is ministry to help with post-abortion healing. The Rachel’s Vineyard weekend retreat format is an extremely effective and efficient format for post-abortion healing. There are numerous advantages to doing grief work without distraction or interruption from one’s job, family life and relationships. The expression of grief is extremely important in this healing process, and the retreat will foster the expression of deep and powerful emotions.  It is easier for many individuals to enter the grieving process knowing they don’t have to stop after two hours and return home or to work.
