Listening to Women

Listening To Women

Women's voices are vital to the Catholic Church! If you identify as a Catholic female, please join us for "Listening to Women," an event where women can talk about the celebrations and challenges they experience as women in the Catholic Church. This will be a time of prayer, reflection, and discussion in a safe, confidential space (with snacks provided).

Join us on Monday, June 3rd from 6 - 7:30 p.m. or Saturday, June 15 from 10:30 a.m - noon.

"Listening to Women" is part of a nationwide project sponsored by organizations from the International Catholic Reform Network. Our goal is to share reflections from parishes around the country with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to help create opportunities for greater understanding and inclusion of women in Church life. The worldwide synod of bishops, after their synod in October 2018, called the inclusion of women in decision-making in the church a "duty of justice," and said: “The absence of women’s voices and viewpoint impoverishes discussion and the path of the church.” So let us enrich the Church with the voices of women!
